Our Robotics & Coding Curriculum

At Tricks with Bricks, we give students the opportunity to learn and play with robotics. Starting with a simple moving robot, students discover motors and the robotics control center—the brain. Throughout the courses they learn to design, build and program more advanced robots.

Robotic & Coding I

Students are introduced to programmable robots that demonstrate the first stages of coding. In this course, students learn how code translates to real-life movement through multiple engaging cross-curricular activities in our virtual classroom.

Robotic & Coding II

Designed as an introductory step to for a full-featured robotics platform, students expand on their knowledge from Robotics & Coding I as they learn how to utilize and control a variety of robot components through code and discover how they tie in to a fully functional robot.

Robotic & Coding III

Built on the concept foundations taught in Robotics & Coding II, students build and program increasingly advanced robots and thoroughly exercise and improve their problem-solving skills as they figure out where errors in their projects occur.
